Pfizer
Designing key websites for Pfizer, whose medicines affect billions of lives globally.
Pfizer Annual Report
2022 was a big year for Pfizer, and they wanted to showcase the global impact of their work. Our team at AKQA put together an Annual Report website to showcase the strides that Pfizer made in the past year.
We built the site using Pfizer’s existing design system, maintaining Pfizer’s tone while elevating the content whenever possible.
I partnered with a developer, a motion designer, and another designer to put together desktop and mobile designs for the site. The designs consisted of both existing components and new components that we put together for this site based on specific needs.
In order to bring the content to life, we created interactive elements that allowed users to dive further into the numbers.
Lastly, I put together a PDF version of all of the website content, totaling roughly 150 pages of print-ready material.
Pfizer Data Visualization
Pfizer’s product pipeline, from research to market-ready drug, is both compelling and complicated. They wanted a standalone website that would speak to this rigorous process of theirs in a fresh and innovative way.
Our team put together a website that did just that. We created an interactive experience guiding users through this intricate product pipeline using abstract design, animation, and visual storytelling. The site will be launching late 2023.
I partnered with 3 other UI designers and a UX designer to create screens for this interactive experience. Together, we designed UI, animations, interactions, and crafted the guided narrative.
This standalone website took Pfizer’s existing design system and pushed it in a fresh, new direction, giving the page its distinct atmosphere and setting it apart from other Pfizer pages.
Pfizer Clinical Trials
Pfizer conducts clinical trials in order to further their development of new medicines. As part of this effort, our team designs and maintains their ever-evolving Clinical Trials websites.
Alongside another designer, I implemented visual and functional changes across the product, laying out new flows, tweaking existing components, and designing new screens.
Below is a small selection of these screens in both desktop and mobile.
The design process for these Clinical Trials websites involves constant iteration and exploration. Below is a snapshot of my process of exploring different design solutions for a given page.
